When Amy Sinibaldi of Nana Company asked me to join her Paperie Blog Tour, I was thrilled and honored. I have followed Amy’s journey for a very long time, from her early days of sewing adorable aprons, through her recent book launch, Sweetly Stitched Handmades, and now her very first (limited edition) fabric line, Paperie with Art Gallery Fabrics.
Paperie reflects Amy’s love for reading and is the perfect balance of her elegant style, with a touch of whimsy. The colors are so soft and sophisticated and includes some beautiful low-volume prints. If you haven’t sewn with Art Gallery Fabrics before, it’s a must! They are so buttery soft.

As a mom surrounded by mostly boys, I don’t have a lot of pink in my house. I knew I needed a soft and feminine quilt just for for ME!

I decided to pair my Paperie bundle with some Kona solids I had on hand. I was thrilled that they matched so well (which just shows how much I love these colors).
{Kona Colors: Aqua, Primrose, Candy Green, Melon and Ash}
I designed my own pattern for this quilt, using half square triangles set on-point. I’ve never made a quilt with a scalloped or zig-zag edge, so I knew I wanted to try something different.

I couldn’t get enough of sewing with Paperie, so I decided to make a cover for my planner too.

I’m just so happy to be carrying a bit of Paperie with me everywhere I go. I may post a tutorial for the planner cover in the near future…any interest?
Now excuse me while I go panic stash some more of this beautiful fabric line. You should too, it’s a limited edition print!

If you’d like to win a Paperie Love Letter from Amy, simply leave a comment on this post (for an additional entry, you can leave a comment on my Instagram post here). I’ll choose a winner on Monday – February 1, 2016 at 10am.
Happy Sewing!
